Did you know that THE TIDE OF HUMANITY COURTESY is now displayed in the window of the former EB Games store where, more recently, Focus Art Group held its Spring 2024 exhibition, located on the upper level of the mall. The opportunity to view THE TIDE OF HUMANITY COURTESY and read its history should not be missed. We thank Councilor Elaine MacDonald for her efforts in setting up this valuable display.

You must know that Cornwall Market will judge and award the top 3 prizes “My mom is the best because…” short essay contest 50 words or less Monday, May 13. We will publish the names of the 3 winners in next week’s column and on the Cornwall Square website.

Just a reminder that the coming weekend is the long one Victory Day holiday weekendand this Cornwall Market will be closed on Monday 20 May 2024. We hope everyone can celebrate the extra day with family and friends and that Mother Nature cooperates with the wonderful weather.

Did you know that Harvest Arks he’ll enjoy some extra company in the space he occupies here Cornwall Market. On certain weekends each month Grandma Dynamite (aka Sharon Lavoie) will appear with a table full of baked goodies and her famous fudge. Not just fudge, but FUUUDDDGE!!!, a delicious treat from personal experience. “Here comes Fudge…”.

Did you know that Cornwall Market with its huge skylight it creates a nice solar effect for the mall, but also allows a large amount of heat to be generated inside and counteracts the amount of heat, Cornwall Market relies on more of its heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment to cool things down and provide our customers with a pleasant indoor environment to come shopping or take part in Mall Walking. Several of our existing HVAC units are moving away and it’s time to replace two of the large units that sit on the roof to give everyone the pleasant indoor shopping experience they deserve and allow us to live up to our standards. motto of “Shop in Cornwall, shop in, shop in the market”.

You must know that our maintenance crew member who was assaulted a few weeks ago in the garage is healing as the bruising, swelling and cuts on his face go down, appreciate everyone’s concern and well wishes.
