Police converge on quiet Bexleyheath street after ‘child seen walking alone’

Police swarmed a quiet residential street after a child was seen alone in Bexleyheath.

The child was seen walking along Rydal Drive just after 12.30pm yesterday (May 14).

The child was found safe and returned home a short time later.

No crimes were identified.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “Police were called at around 12.24am on Tuesday 14 May to reports of a child walking alone on the road in Rydal Drive, Bexleyheath.

“Officers attended and returned the child home.

“No crimes were identified.”
