Tik Tok star from Bradford district spent a month in jail

A TIK TOK star from Bradford with more than 600,000 followers has been released from prison after a month away.

Gavinio, whose catchphrases include “get back shadrack” and “it’s all inside your mind” – which matches his social media handle – returned to Tik Tok last Friday after a month-long absence.

The Tik Tok star, whose real name is Gavin Proctor, linked up with another big name on the scene before his forced departure.

He collaborated with other Tik Tok creators to release the song Lose My Mind in March and spent time in Dubai during that time.

Proctor, 39, of Poplar Road, Shipley, was jailed for 10 weeks on April 4 at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court after breaching a suspended sentence he received last year.

He pleaded guilty to the offense on the same day.

The 39-year-old failed to show up for an unpaid work appointment on Nov. 26, 2023, and a scheduled RAR (Rehabilitation Activity Requirement) office appointment on Dec. 12, 2023, according to court records.

This was part of his sentence for being convicted of driving while disqualified, failing to provide a blood sample for analysis and driving a motor vehicle without insurance on May 11 last year at Leeds Crown Court.

All three offenses relate to September 3, 2022, when Proctor was driving a black Ford Focus Hatchback on Manningham Lane.

He received a 12-week prison sentence, suspended for 18 months.

Proctor was also disqualified from driving for a further three years, ordered to attend an accredited program for 33 days, carry out up to 25 days of rehabilitation activity requirement (RAR) and 100 hours of work unpaid.

Court records show that this sentence was given because Proctor has a “prior record for driving while disqualified and drink driving offences”.

Gavinio posted a Tik Tok video on April 3, apparently promoting a new song while in a car with a white leather interior.

A number of viewers questioned his disappearance on the platform, with several saying he was in HMP Armley.

The Telegraph & Argus spoke to one person who said their ex-partner confirmed Gavinio was in prison, with another claiming their friend saw the Tik Tok star in court on April 4.

Gavinio then posted a Tik Tok video on May 10 hinting at being behind bars.

He wears an orange jumpsuit with part of a pair of handcuffs wrapped around one of his wrists.

Gavinio shouted, “My, you know how we’re doing, Gavinio is back, fresh out of HMP.”

The Tik Tok celebrity, who has 10.9 million likes across all her videos, also posted a video yesterday (May 13) with the caption “dropping soon”.

It features a slideshow of three photos of Gavinio, including him standing next to luxury supercars, while part of a new track plays in the background.

T&A has reached out to Gavinio’s management for comment.
