Tottenham 0-2 Manchester City: Community Player Ratings

Tottenham Hotspur hosted Manchester City in one of the most emotional matches I’ve ever had the pleasure of covering. It was a real ‘Spurphie’s Pick’ for Tottenham fans – win and win Europe and have a real chance of qualifying for the Champions League…BUT Arsenal become favorites to win the Premier League title.

Fortunately, they ended up not having to worry that much. Erling Haaland scored a brace – a tap-in and a penalty – despite a spirited Tottenham performance to earn a 2-0 away win at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and make the presumptive four-time champions as much as long as they don’t want to. slip up against West Ham.

Tottenham, by contrast, need just a point at Sheffield United this weekend to move up to fifth to end a successful season that ended with something of a whimper, losing five of six games.

It’s been an emotional day, fellow Spurs fans. I’m not going to tell you how to feel, I’m just glad it’s over. Time to rate the players.

Rate players from 1⁄2 to 5 stars. If the player does not deserve a rating due to minutes played, DO NOT RATE. I’ll round stars up/down to the nearest half star for player ratings later this week.
