What Jurgen Klopp was seen doing at Anfield ahead of his emotional farewell

Jurgen Klopp was spotted at Anfield ahead of his final game as Liverpool manager.

This Sunday, the Reds take on Wolves in the club’s final Premier League game of the season. Liverpool were held to a 3-3 draw by Aston Villa on Monday night in what was Klopp’s last away game as manager.

Klopp announced back in January that he would step down as Liverpool manager at the end of the season. Since then, the German has guided the Reds to a Carabao Cup triumph, a third-place finish in the Premier League and the quarter-finals of the Europa League and FA Cup in his final season.

With Sunday expected to be an emotional day for everyone connected with Liverpool, it seems Klopp is already busy preparing to say goodbye. A video has emerged on social media showing Klopp in Anfield on Tuesday, days ahead of this weekend’s Wolves kick-off.

Footage filmed from inside Anfield was posted on social media and saw Klopp standing alone at half-way looking towards the empty end of the Kop. Another photo posted by the same account showed Klopp sitting in the Kop, appearing to take in his surroundings ahead of Sunday’s game.

Following Monday night’s draw with Villa, Klopp went to the Liverpool fans to bid an emotional farewell after his final away game in charge. Klopp was asked about his emotions after the farewell and admitted he was surprised by his reaction to the occasion.
