Central Line trains were hit with delays due to the offender

There are currently minor delays on the Central Line due to a track trespasser at Leyton, Transport for London said.

The incident caused delays to services between Leytonstone and Epping and Hainault via Newbury Park.

There is good service on the rest of the line.

Meanwhile, there are also minor delays on the Northern Line due to a lack of trains.

Earlier, a power cut in south London disrupted trains on the London Overground and Southern networks on Tuesday afternoon.

The problem, between Norwood Junction and West Croydon, has left some lines blocked, National Rail says.

London Overground trains between Highbury and Islington and West Croydon were affected, as were Southern services between London Bridge and Epsom, and between London Victoria and Epsom Downs.

The problem is between Shenfield and Chelmsford and the line to Colchester is blocked.

Motorists were stuck in a terrifying 15-mile tailback on the M25 on Tuesday morning after the crash.

Two lanes were closed after a driver suffered a medical episode with congestion building up alongside the M4 and M40 towards Chorleywood.

National Highways says all lanes are now open again and there is no sign of congestion in the area.

Several metro lines are affected by lunchtime delays.

There are severe delays on the Piccadilly line between South Harrow and Acton Town and the line is also suspended between Uxbridge and South Harrow. This is due to a previously faulty train.

There are also severe delays on the Metropolitan line between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Uxbridge.

There are minor delays on the Elizabeth line between Paddington and Heathrow and Reading terminals while Network Rail inspects the tracks.
