Arsenal starlet confirms summer exit ahead of Premier League final clash with Everton

Arsenal Academy striker Kido Taylor-Hart has confirmed he will leave the club this summer as his contract expires. The 21-year-old spent last season on loan at Derby before leaving for National League side Bromley this year.

In an emotional statement online, Taylor-Hart said: “Firstly, I would like to thank all the staff, coaches, fans and players at Arsenal who have shown me love and helped me over the 13 years of this Amazing Club. I appreciate more. than I can explain The Club literally saw me grow up and go from a boy to a man (red heart emoji)”.

He added: “Having said that it’s time to move on and I’m beyond excited about what the future holds for my career. (praying hands emoji, red and white circle emoji)”.

Taylor-Hart never played for the first team or made the bench for the senior side but impressed during his time at the Hale End. However, he failed to make much of an impact during his time away from the club, failing to make a first-team appearance at Derby and scoring just once in Premier League 2 for the Under-21 side.

He spent the first half of last season with Arsenal’s own youth teams but only played five times. He was loaned out to Bromley in September but only played nine times.

He quickly fell out of contention at the club, starting just two games all year and not scoring until April. Nor was he involved in the penalty play-off final win over Solihull Moors earlier this month.
