Major road closures in Newham: Sunday 26 May 2024.

  • Road closures between 4am and 7.30pm
  • Parking prohibited along the route
  • Plan any trip in advance

Newham Council is advising residents to check the road closures taking place as part of Ride London on Sunday 26 May.

As there will be closures on many roads in Newham – with some closures taking place from 4am on Sunday 26 May until 7.30pm on the same day, travel disruption is possible.

Parking is prohibited along the Ride London route
The Council also advises that you do not park on the route all day on Sunday 26th May or your vehicle will be removed.

What is Ride London?
RideLondon, the festival of cycling, takes place from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 May 2024 in London.

On Sunday 26 May, more than 100 miles of roads will be closed throughout the day – significantly impacting central and east London.

Around 25,000 riders will start in central London, travel to and from Essex via Tower Hamlets, Newham, Hackney, Redbridge and Waltham Forest, before returning to the capital for a spectacular finish at Tower Bridge.
