The mysterious fun fair appears in Exchange Flags that no one can run

A funfair has sprung up downtown, and no one is sure why.

The ECHO understands the races, which appeared overnight in Exchange Flags, have been prepared for filming to take place later this week. Filming is slated for a “big production,” but there has been no confirmation yet on the project for which the whimsical scene is set.

This is not the first time that the market has been used as a filming location. In 2021, the area was transformed into an Italian setting for a Pepsi commercial featuring Mo Salah.

In 2020, the area behind City Hall was filled with nostalgic billboards as film crews took over the square. And just last week, a new episode of popular TV show Inside No. 9 aired, which used a platform and train at Moorfields station, which is right next to Exchange Flags.

The episode was titled Boo to a Goose and followed a group of late night passengers stuck on a train after it stops in a tunnel.

Until we have confirmation of what project is going on in Exchange Flags, here are pictures of the fun fair that was built.
